Back-to-School shoppers prefer stores

Court gives limited OK for religious liberty

As one of the many supporters of Hobby Lobby, and other companies run by Christians, CBA applauds the U.S. Supreme Court ruling that supports religious liberties for business owners. CBA, the association for the Christian-resources industry, petitioned the Court in a friend of the court brief because of religious liberty concerns. “Business owners shouldn’t have to give up their faith to operate a business, and they should be free to live and work according to their beliefs without fear of government punishment,” said Curtis Riskey, CBA president. “Americans don’t surrender their freedom when they open a family business.”
